The Rating Appeal process commences with a proposal made in writing and served on the Valuation Office Agency. Savings! Once the revised Rateable Value or certificate is transmitted by the VOA to the Council, the refund will be processed. We will check your revised business rates statements and make sure you have received the full savings and interest owing to.

The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) has updated the rateable values of all business, and other non-domestic, properties in England and Wales.

These future rateable values will take effect from 1 April 2023.
