We subscribe to a national database and can see your Rating Valuation, appeal history, and the assessments of your neighbors, which allows us to have an initial overview of your case. Naturally, if you do decide to take matters further then your property will have to be inspected, photographed, and measured and you will need to tell us about your lease/rental details as a minimum of case preparation. The Rating Appeal process commences with a proposal made in writing and served on the Valuation Office Agency. You may rest assured that your case will be bolstered and greatly assisted with examples of helpful Tribunal precedents and comparable settlements to negotiate the lowest revised assessment for you.

Savings! Once the revised Rateable Value or certificate is transmitted by the VOA to the Council, the refund will be processed. We will check your revised business rates statements and make sure you have received the full savings and interest owing to.

The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) has updated the rateable values of all business, and other non-domestic, properties in England and Wales.

These future rateable values will take effect from 1 April 2023.

What does this mean? (See Below Point 3 )

The information released In December 2022 gives the future rateable values for non-domestic properties in England and Wales.

You can check the factual information used for your valuation and tell the VOA if anything is wrong.
